Hello, I'm Rosie, the proud founder of Postnatal Minds.

As a mother of two, experienced Mental Health Nurse and qualified Health and Wellbeing coach, I understand the unique challenges that come with the postnatal time.

With over 16 years of experience in the NHS and a passion for supporting new parents, my mission is to provide compassionate, tailored support that empowers you to thrive- not just survive.

I graduated from King’s College London in 2011 with a BSc in Mental Health Nursing. Since then, I've dedicated myself to supporting others, working across various mental health roles in Brighton, East Sussex and London both clinically and managerially, leading and supporting large and small teams. I have led de-briefs, reflective sessions, coaching sessions and development days. I have broad experience and knowledge of all Mental Health illnesses and the impact that these can have on a person's day to day lives.

I've expanded my expertise through postgraduate courses, including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) for psychosis and Motivational Interviewing and Health and Wellbeing Coaching certified NHS accredited course.

After the birth of my first child, I completed a Leaders Plus fellowship and worked with the National Positive Practice in Mental Health Awards. Following the birth of my second child, I launched Postnatal Minds. At Postnatal Minds, I blend my expertise with a deep commitment to your wellbeing. Together, we can navigate the challenges of postnatal life and build lasting mental health.

GUIDING POSTNATAL WELLNESS

As a Mental Health Nurse and Health and a Wellbeing coach, I am dedicated to
supporting parents in their journey through the transformative postnatal period.

The first year of having a baby is thought to be the most joyful time of our lives, yet many experience feelings of loneliness, anxiety and sadness. A lot of preparation and focus is put into the growth and birth of your child, leaving the 'fourth trimester' often unspoken about. This can contribute to feelings such as loneliness and guilt as a new patient navigating your new identity. Small things can feel like big things,
and that is ok.

My sessions are designed to focus on your story, your goals and provide a safe space for open and honest discussion. My expertise lies in guiding parents to regain their identity, emotional balance, and overall wellbeing after welcoming a child into the world.

Through facilitating a comfortable and reflective space, I will support you to navigate the challenges and joys of postpartum life. My mission is to empower women to prioritise their health and wellbeing, self care, foster resilience, and embrace their new roles with confidence and vitality. It can often feel unusual and unnatural investing into ourselves at a time when we are putting so much into another human. I believe that every person should have a safe space to talk and reflect on their experience after such a huge life event. I hope to provide that space for you and work with you to enable you to feel supported and heard.

BALANCING A CAREER AND FAMILY LIFE CAN BE BOTH CHALLENGING AND REWARDING.

My experiences as a mother have deepened my understanding of the importance of mental health as well as physical health post birth. Following the birth of my son in 2023, I felt a real gap in the support for my mental wellbeing after what I had experienced. This personal insight and a want to support others to make a difference, was a driving force in creating Postnatal Minds.
